Originally from St Petersburg, Russia, I have been living in London for more than eleven years. I was trained as an illustrator of children's books at Chelsea College of Art & Design and the University of Brighton, where I received Master of Arts Degree in 2005.

I am writing and illustrating my own children’s stories as well as Russian folk tales. In addition, I am doing storytelling/craft sessions for schools, libraries and privately, using my illustrations, puppets and Russian folk costumes.

Since 2000 I have been a member of the "Cygnets Art Group." We have organized more than 15 exhibitions in London and other parts of the United Kingdom. For the "Cygnets" shows, I create found objects collages to display at the events.

Several years ago I've launched a company "Carousel Art&Books." The main aim of this company is to create, publish and distribute picture books for 4-6 year olds, organize storytelling and craft activities. Besides that, the company creates original murals for children, adults and businesses. A mural is a painting or an illustration but on the wall. You need to have the same abilities, such as good observation, drawing and painting skills. And it is very rewarding to see the finished work, which will stay and live with people in their home or business having your personal touch.
